Our upcoming bull sale on Monday, March 30, will go ahead as scheduled.
We hold the safety of our customers in the highest regard and will be following the recommendations of the CCA for hosting cattle sales during the Covid-19 crisis.
In respecting that, we must keep our crowd smaller than usual and have the following options available:
>> We highly recommend visiting the farm prior to the sale to view the bulls. We are available at your convenience to show you the offering.
>> Utilize our "Site Unseen Purchase Plan”. Call us in the days ahead of the sale to discuss your bull needs and we will purchase a bull sale day on your behalf. We guarantee your satisfaction upon bull delivery.
>> View the bull videos online at www.cattlevids.ca and utilize DLMS to bid online and purchase bulls. If you choose this option, please make sure to register to bid in good time prior to the sale at www.DLMS.ca.
>> You are welcome to attend the sale, but we do ask that you only bring the people involved in choosing your new purchase.
>> Phone bidding will be available sale day, and you can contact any number listed in the catalogue as they will all be onsite.
We will have safeguards in place to ensure our facility is well sanitized. Our facility is large enough to ensure appropriate social distancing.
There will be a pre-made, individually served lunch available.
We ask that if you do not have intentions of making a purchase, are not feeling well, or have recently travelled that you please stay home.
We are sad to not be able to host friends, family and neighbours as usual for a time of fellowship and hospitality, but the well-being of everyone is our top priority. All we can say is we will have to make next year twice as good!
Please call us with any questions or concerns.

2019 Northern Select Sale
I guess better late than never...
It has been a trying fall for everyone and hopefully most have gathered enough feed and roughage to get through until spring.
The following are our consignments to this weekends Northern Select sale in Camrose AB. Two heifers from the top end of our replacement pen that we are proud to offer for sale.
Hope to see you on Saturday!
JZT 22F
22F is an easy keeping, sharp fronted “Vision” daughter with a beautiful Angus head. She has a nice wide hip with the look of a cow. Her dam, 222T, has been a top producing Tank daughter with 3 sons through our bull sale and one daughter in Russia. This heifer will be her third daughter through the northern sale, one of those being a top heifer selling to Neil Cook last year for $6500. She also had a top selling daughter through our bull sale who went on to produce our second high selling heifer this spring to Hardy Fischer for $7000. 222T is on the short list to enter the donor pen next spring. I cannot say enough good about the Unanimous 743B daughters after calving out two calf crops. Exceptional udder quality and teat placement, in a nice moderate, easy keeping package. Due to calve early February.
JZT 65F
Well, here is a pedigree from the past at Everblack. The original Traveling Lucy was a Northern graduate from the 90’s. 65F’s fifth dam would be the mother of Everblack Masterplan 007, who was a strong female producing herdsire at Dwajo and Minburn Angus. She is a typical U2 NightTrain daughter; Long spined, deep bodied, with a nice neck extension and a ton of hair. They are making very nice momma cows. 65F is bred to the $43,000 calving ease sire Bar H Money Made 1D. We have two calf crops off of him so far and they are light at birth with good early growth, long spines and a nice clean front end. An easy calving dream. Due to calve mid February.
